Learn to play the gong and heal your self, heal your love ones. The sound of the gong creates deep relaxation, clears the mind and has been proven to be effective in addressing many symptoms that accompany physical illnesses and diseases, from providing pain relief to facilitating regeneration.

In this one day workshop on February 18, 2017, you will learn the:
• Techniques for single and combination mallet strikes
• Major areas and percussion points of the gong
• Basic skills to buid playing sequences to create a gong session
• Equipment and care of the gong

You will develop enough confidence to play the gong and the ability to listen, to become one with the gong and to understand how you can tap into the universal sound current.

All levels are welcome to join from first timers who have never played a gong and to those who have had some experience and wish to deepen their skill.

The workshop will culminate with an all-night Gong Puja, where all participants will be bathed while sleeping in the sounds of the gongs for 9-hours of continuous play from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Each student will play for an allotted time in rotation. A healthy breakfast will be served after.

Those who wish to participate in the all-night Gong Puja without playing may join. The slots will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The things to bring to the Puja are a pillow, blanket, water bottle, personal toiletries, crystals and photos of those that you would like to send healing to. Please wear white.

Slots limited. Workshop fee including the all-night Puja is P10,000 per student. Those who wish to join the Puja, the fee is P4,500. Please confirm your place in the workshop by paying in advance. Only those students who are fully paid will be considered as booked.
