Are you feeling depressed, experiencing headaches, chronic back pain, sniffles, fatigue, digestive issues, or sleepless nights? Are your nerves shaky? These could be symptoms of too much stress.
Stress is the body’s reaction to negative situations, whether they’re real or perceived. Our bodies are able to handle small doses of stress, but not equipped to handle long-term, chronic stress without adverse effects. Over time, stress decreases our vitality and diminishes our ability to enjoy life.
US-based legacy teacher Tarn Taran Kaur will be in Manila on October 6-7, 2018 to lead a two-day yoga workshop that will foster inner vitality. The workshop called “Nerves of Steel, Heart of Gold” will teach participants how to handle challenges and adversity using Kundalini Yoga, a powerful technology to build strength within a person.
Stress is everywhere–from meeting work deadlines to managing finances and coping with life day-to-day. With the ‘-ber’ months ushering the Christmas season, your stress levels are bound to rise as traffic, parties, gift-giving and other social and charitable obligations intensify demands on your time. The harmful effects of stress need not take its toll on your health. Kundalini Yoga provides a complete system to manage stress because of its positive effects on the glands and nerves.
“Nerves of Steel, Heart of Gold” consists of two classes per day from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will be held at Anam Cara Manila, 161 Neptune St., Bel-Air 2 Makati.
Tarn Taran Kaur has been teaching for over 40 years. She is an international Kundalini Research Institute lead trainer for Level One and Level Two training for yoga teachers, the international director for Kundalini Women, and author of women leader books.
The workshop is open to beginners and yoga practitioners. Fees are P8,000 for the four-class package, P5,000 for two classes and P3,000 for one class. For inquiries, SMS 0918 888-9198.
